February Member Webex Meeting Announcement
The monthly membership meeting for February, 2017 will be a Webex-only event ( Advance Registration Required), and is scheduled to occur Thursday, February 16 starting at 6:00 pm.

· Abstract: It has been estimated that as much as 90% of a project manager’s time is spent communicating. Project managers must provide well-written reports and presentations that will convey their project’s status, progress, challenges, achievements, and so forth. This month’s meeting focuses on improving business writing to help you lead projects and communicate with diverse stakeholders more effectively.
· Presenter: C. Eric Kirkland, MBA, PhD, PMP®. Dr. Kirkland has been active is the PMI community and the West Virginia/Ohio Valley Chapter for years. He has led numerous projects in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors since he was initiated as an accidental project manager in 1978. His education spans the liberal arts, computer science and information technology, education, statistics, and business management. He has numerous publications and presentations, a few patents, and innumerable manuscripts. He often contributes book reviews to the PM Journal. He earned his doctorate from the University of Virginia and his MBA is from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He has been a member of the Board of Directors or the WV/OV chapter for the past 7 years, completing his two-year term as president in 2017.
Advance Registration Required! Webex access information for this Webex-only event will only be distributed to those who pre-register with valid email addresses . There will be no mass distribution of the Webex access info prior to the event to members who do not register in advance! Chapter membership is not required to register for (or to attend) the event, but IS required for Chapter-provided PDU submission.
