July 2018 Chapter Webex Meeting Scheduled!
The next monthly meeting event for 2018 is scheduled for Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 6:00 pm. Scott A. Helmers will present the topic "Visio Tips for Project Managers."

Perhaps you’ve used Visio to create a flow chart or a swimlane diagram… or an organization chart… but are you still doing those things by hand? Did you know that Visio can automatically build your org chart from data in Excel? And that it can even add a photograph for each person? Are you aware that Visio Online Plan 2 allows you to enter process data in Excel and Visio will build a flowchart or a swimlane diagram automatically? Did you know that Visio can create a timeline diagram if you point it at a Microsoft Project plan? Or that you can create really effective business intelligence dashboards with nothing more than Visio and Project Online? Attend this webcast to discover features and capabilities in Visio that can save you time and put new tools in your project management toolkit.

Scott A. Helmers is a Partner at the Harvard Computing Group, a software and consulting firm that assists clients with understanding and implementing business process solutions. He is a co-inventor of TaskMap (www.taskmap.com), a Visio add-in that allows anyone to document, analyze, and improve their business processes. He has been named a Microsoft Valuable Professional (MVP) for Visio every year since 2008 and is the author of four books from Microsoft Press including Visio 2016 Step by Step. He is also a course author for LinkedIn Learning.
