May 2018 Chapter Webex Meeting Scheduled!
The next monthly meeting event for 2018 is scheduled for Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 6:00 pm. Mark Collins, BSBA, PMP, CM, will present the topic "Servant Leadership." Learning objectives for this presentation include:
- Understand where the Concept of Servant Leadership originated and how it has grown. Who uses it. (Agile)
- Understand the difference between a “Servant First Leader” and a “Leader First Leader”.
- Examine the seven Pillars of Servant Leadership.
- Understand why Servant Leadership is a valuable Leadership Style.
- Highlight where Agile borrows from the study of Servant Leadership.
Presenter bio:
Mark Collins, of Plain City, Ohio (northwest of Columbus), worked for Helicopter EMS/Critical Care Transport from 1989 -2014. As Director of Operations Mark found himself running all the projects at MedFlight. To improve project quality he earned his PMP in 2006. The projects included base startup and relocation projects, IT and equipment modernization projects, Process Improvement and Procurement Projects. In 2015 he started a consulting LLC called “ Create Capability”. www.createcapability.com
His most recent project was consulting a Mainland Chinese Company starting the country's first Helicopter EMS system in the PRC. Mark holds a BSBA from Ohio State University, POM summa cum laude. He is also a retired U.S. Army Warrant Officer who served 21 years.
