May Chapter Meeting

The March WV/OV PMI Chapter program meeting for 2012 is scheduled for Thursday, May 24, at 5:30 PM. The meeting will be hosted at the Charleston Location at the Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center, Library Lab on the 1st floor, on the CAMC campus.
The program will feature Mark Beha, PMP presenting his “Top 5” Challenges in Managing International Programs and Tips on How to Deal With Them
Based on Mark's nearly 20 years experience in managing large international programs from Russia to Saudi Arabia. Special areas of emphasis will include:
1. Project Communications Management
2. Organizational Culture and Style
3. Manage Stakeholder Expectations
4. Safety Culture
5. Sustainment Challenges
Mark Beha, PMP, Has 17 years of proven results-oriented leadership in program management, with increasing scope and responsibility on medium to large projects. He is currently the Senior Manager of Project Management for Global Security Solutions, Mission Support Operations.
Mark has over a decade of experience as Country Manager and Head of Representation in Russia and Ukraine for Raytheon Technical Services Company and has been formally recognized for exceptional performance in managing large complex programs by
The meeting will be broadcast in Stansbury Hall, WVU, First Floor, Room 162. You can park in lot seven, right side of building as you look towards river. Parking passes are not required after 5PM.
Enter the building from the lot seven side. Go straight through the doors and then veer left past the large map. There will be a door on the left and one straight ahead. The one on the left is the stairwell, the one straight ahead is the one to go through. Room 162 is immediately on the left.
The meeting will also be broadcast to the auditorium of the I-79 Technology Park Research Center located in the I-79 Technology Park, 1000 Galliher Drive, Fairmont, WV.
Due to technical difficulties the meeting location at Kemron will not be available for the May Chapter meeting.
Web broadcast will be made available to WV/OV Chapter Members. Webex and teleconference information will be communicated in a later mailing to members.
As usual, everyone (including non-members) is welcome to attend this session. There is no cost to attend.
