New Member Welcome Letter
New Member’s Address
Dear New Member,
On behalf of PMI West Virginia - Ohio Valley Chapter, I would like to welcome you as a new member of the Project Management Institute, West Virginia - Ohio Valley Chapter. As you know, PMI® is the leading international nonprofit professional association in the area of Project Management. PMI establishes Project Management standards, provides seminars, educational programs and professional certification (PMP®) that more and more organizations desire for their project leaders. The PMP is the profession's most globally recognized and respected certification credential. Increasingly, PMP certification is required for employment or advancement within corporations and other organizations.
I think you will find that our local PMI West Virginia - Ohio Valley Chapter brings all the benefits of PMI membership one step closer to home, with the addition of local programs and events. We have a regular monthly meeting that is usually held on the third Thursday of the month at 5:30 pm, where you can network with other Project Management Professionals as well earn Professional Development Units, which count towards your recertification as a PMP. These meetings are available via webex and conference call dial up. In addition, we also conduct annual dinners where our geographically diverse membership has an opportunity to meet, eat and discuss relevant Project Management initiatives.
I look forward to meeting you personally at one of our chapter meetings. Additional information about our chapter can be found at our web site:

Sincerely,
